Specializing in Trauma and Attachment

Psychology Today

For 25 years, I have helped children, teens and adults cope with bad things that sometimes happen in their lives.  I understand the ripple effects that these disturbing, difficult, or frightening life experiences can have.  I use a neuroscience-informed approach to create a safe environment for clients to release the emotional pain.  When children are involved, I also provide support and coaching to parents because YOU are your child's most important source of support.

I have training and experience to work with a variety of issues, including:

- ADHD
- adoption and attachment issues
- anger management
- anxiety and fears
- behavioral issues
- child abuse (sexual, physical, emotional)
- child neglect
- communication skills
- depression

- divorce and family changes
- domestic violence (teens and adults)
- family conflict
- loss and grief
- parenting
- relationship issues
- self-esteem
- self-harm
- trauma and PTSD
